Chasing Tennessee Waterfalls: A Bachelorette Adventure Trip
The warm glow of the morning sun filtered through the canvas of our luxury safari tent as we stretched lazily beneath plush blankets. The crisp Tennessee air carried the faint scent of pine, promising a weekend of adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We weren’t just celebrating the upcoming wedding of our best friend—we were embarking on the ultimate bachelorette getaway, trading the typical bar scene for a girls’ weekend in the heart of nature at the stunning Tennessee Glamping Resort on Center Hill Lake.

Day One: Arrival & Sunset Pontoon Cruise
As we rolled up to the resort, our excitement bubbled over. The adults-only retreat was a slice of paradise, nestled among rolling hills and towering trees, offering a perfect blend of luxury and the great outdoors. With king-sized beds, cozy fire pits, and private decks with hot tubs, we knew this was going to be a Bachelorette weekend trip to remember.
After settling in, we popped a bottle of champagne, toasting to the bride-to-be before heading to the marina for a chartered pontoon ride on Center Hill Lake. The water shimmered as we cruised along, the sky melting into hues of pink and orange. We lounged on the deck, soaking in the tranquility and planning the next day's waterfall-hopping adventure.
Day Two: Chasing Waterfalls
With matching swimsuits and hiking boots on, we set out early for a day dedicated to Tennessee’s most breathtaking waterfalls. Our first stop was Cummins Falls State Park, just 30 minutes away. Known for its stunning cascades and natural swimming hole, the hike down was well worth the effort. We waded into the cool, clear water, letting the falls rush over us as we snapped Insta-worthy shots.
Next, we made our way to Burgess Falls, just under 30 minutes from the resort. The series of waterfalls here, plunging over limestone cliffs, was nothing short of mesmerizing. We picnicked by the water, indulging in a spread of fresh fruit, sandwiches, and locally made sweets.
To round out our waterfall trifecta, we visited Carmac Falls, a hidden gem offering an intimate escape into nature. The gentle roar of the falls was the perfect backdrop for an impromptu photo shoot, the bride-to-be twirling in her flowy white cover-up, the mist catching the light in just the right way.

Day Three: Canoeing the Caney Fork River & Spa Time
No bachelorette trip adventure would be complete without some time on the water, so we spent the morning canoeing down the famous Caney Fork River. The serene, winding waters took us past limestone bluffs and dense forests, making us feel as if we’d paddled straight into a postcard.
After a morning of paddling and laughter (and maybe a few unintentional splashes), we retreated to have an outdoor spa. With massages and a soak in the hot tubs, we embraced full relaxation mode. The soothing atmosphere gave us a chance to reflect on friendships, love, and the excitement of the upcoming wedding.

Day Four: Poolside Bliss & Farewell Brunch
On our final morning, we opted for a slow start, lounging by the resort’s sun-drenched pool, mimosas in hand. We reminisced about the weekend’s adventures, from waterfall chasing to late-night fireside chats.
Before heading back to reality, we indulged in a decadent farewell brunch from the local diner just 2 miles from the resort. As we packed up and said our goodbyes, we knew this bachelorette trip weekend had been nothing short of magical—a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and the kind of memories that last a lifetime.
The bride-to-be sighed contentedly. "I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way."
Neither would we.
